The Trade is the story of a naive but strong-willed college student who resolves to sell opioids to pay for his mother's medical expenses but becomes the target of a sadistic detective seeking to frame him for murder until he forms an unlikely bond with a cryptic day trader that may prove to be his only lifeline.
